Bristol area Birders, 97 species was the total at the end of the International Migratory Bird Day in Buchanan County. 8 people participated, some like Ed & Michelle Talbott birding for 14 hours straight. The greatest find of the day definitely has to go to David Raines for his find of a Swallow-tailed Kite that he sighted from the top of Bull Mountain as it soared overhead. Saturday must have been David's day as he also found a Little Blue Heron in a marshy area at the western base of Bull Mountain, just a couple of miles from the Breaks Interstate Park. Everyone found good birds, and the complete list follows for those interested.
