[Bristol-Birds] Brown Pelican still present at Boone Lake

Boone Lake, Sullivan Co., TN
Glen Eller and Rob Biller just called to report that the immature Brown Pelican
is still present this morning around Davis Marina.
This is located on Buffalo Rd., between Sugar Hollow Rd and Enterprise Rd.,
on the upper Holston arm of the lake.
A quick review of Robinson (1990) and subsequent issues of the MIGRANT
(including unpublished Season reports)
indicate that this is the 11th state record of Brown Pelican, the 3rd this year,
and the 7th since 2002.
