Hi All,

Max Medley, of Dalton GA, and I came up to the Boone Lake Dam overlook, so
far this morning, to partake in observing the current Red-necked Grebe
facultative movement phenomenon occurring in the southeast. We are not
disappointed as we've counted 56 Red-necked Grebes from the overlook today.

We have not yet been able to relocate the Long-tailed Duck.

Other highlights here now include:

Redhead - 3
Scaup spp. - distant looks like Greater
White-winged Scoter - 1 adult male
Ruddy Duck

Good Birding All,

Mark
