Bristol Birders, Michelle and I made a late birding hike at Roger Mayhorn's place on Compton Mt. after work today (April 30). The highlight of the hike was a Blackpoll Warbler - a life bird for both of us and a very rare treat for Buchanan County. For those interested, here is a link to some pictures and a write-up of the hike. http://www.grundynet.net/talbott/birding/hikes/aprhikes/ComptonMt.htm Good Birding, Ed Talbott Buchanan County Bird Club ************************************************* BRISTOL BIRDS NET LIST This is a regional birding list sponsored by the Bristol Bird Club to facilitate communications between birders and bird clubs of Southwest Virginia and Northeast Tennessee.
