This morning on Aug. 3, 2009 Shane & Dennis Adams went to Grainger County north
of Hamblen County to birdwatch, at the Boat Ramp and Cherokee Lake in Grainger
County here is a list of birds that we saw today they are: 10 Killdeer, 5
American Crows, American Goldfinch, Belted Kingfisher, Great White Egret, ( Tn.
State Bird) Northern Mockingbird, Double Crested Cormorant, Turkey Vulture, And
in East Hamblen County on Aug. 2, 2009. A Ruby Throated Hummingbird has
returned finally.
