I hope to make a trip to the Virginia coast (Hampton / Va. Beach etc) in the near future.
Anyone have experience/suggestions?On map there is Plum Tree Island National Wildlife Refuge, Grandview nature Preserve, Great Dismal Swamp National Wildlife Refuge has this Swamp Birding Festival and VOS meeting later in the month <http://www.fws.gov/refuge/great_dismal_swamp/visitor_activities/2014_Birding_Festival.html> (sounds inviting), MacKay Island National Wildlife Refuge, James and York rivers.
