Musick's Campground
South Holston Lake
Sullivan Co., TN
Sept. 1, 2005

Immature Bald Eagle - 1 (Had a Great Blue Heron flying above the eagle and
squawking. Couldn't determine if it was a protest by the heron or a cry of
alarm. Could the heron have been chased by the eagle or was the heron trying to
chase the eagle away ? The heron flew at the eagle once from above. Both kept
getting higher until the eagle flew up the lake.)

Great Blue Heron - 2
Great Egret -1
Killdeer - 20 (previously been 3 for some time. This flock was turning and
flying all about as if looking for a place to land. Landed on the campground
outer shoreline. Perhaps this is a new flock from wherever.)

Let's go birding.....
