The BBC had talked about trying put together a trip to WhiteTop Mountain on
Saturday September 1, but with The Herndon Club rescheduling their Rankin Trip
for that day - the WhiteTop Trip will be moved off this date for anyone who
wants to go with the Herndon Trip to Rankin Bottoms may do so. Of the 2, I
think Rankin will be the better trip. I’ll continue to work on organizing the
Mendota Hawk Watch Trip on Saturday, Sept 22 for any interested birders.
Also don’t forget about the Naturalist Rally on Roan Mountain Sept 7, 8, 9.
