The Bristol Bird Club will have it's 2nd walk at Steele Creek on Thursday,
March 10th, at 9am in Bristol, TN. Park at the Mill Street parking area on
Broad Street. Bring your jacket, as the weather will be a little brisk, but
the reward might be pretty good . The turbulent weather this week might
have dropped a few good birds into the park as the very early stages of
spring migration begins. The migrational silly season is beginning - when
winter birds and early spring birds mingle - with everyday being a new
opportunity. Tree Swallows should be in and reports of Brown Thrashers are
increasing in East Tennessee. Join the club on Thursday to see if there is
something new to add to the spring season and enjoy the seasonal birds
still here. Keep your ears sharp as the Blue-gray Gnatcatcher or Pine
Warblers *might* be singing just around the next corner.
