[Bristol-Birds] Apparent wrong ID on Common Redpoll from Tazewell, VA 10 & 11 Mar 2015

A bit of excitement has been
traveling thru the birding
community since yesterday when
a Common Redpoll was reported
coming to a feeder in Tazewell
County, VA at the town of Tazewell.
Several photos of the bird had
been secured by late afternoon
today (Tuesday) 11 March 2015.
It appears to clearly be a
House Finch. I have copies of
the photos.
With a chance that a redpoll is
actually coming to the feeder,
we'll leave the door open for any
possibility that the wrong bird
was photographed. However, it
now appears to be a missed ID and
that will probably stand as final.
