Shooters like that generally aren't playable at all regardless of how much you practice, sad to say. ----- Original Message ----- From: "dan cook" <dan.scook@xxxxxxxxx>

possible to progress with practice. :D

  Hi.
Dead space is not playable. I've listened while one of my sighted friends played it. It's a normal shooter game, and the areas are really, really big.
You have a finder which shows you on the screen where to go, and you're
really lost without it. The finder makes no sounds. The background sounds
are so loud so you sometimes have trouble on hearing what's going on, and
the monsters attacks so fast that if it was playable, you didn't had a
chance at all. The puzzles are really weird and very visually. The game does
have great sounds though, and I really like the story and action.

So for everyone who's played this... I keep hearing that it's playable,
but it looks like a typical shooter to me... can someone dispel this rumor
one way or the other?
