Hi all, another option you might like to look at is the elbraille. It runs
on windows 10 and uses Jaws. It comes with a 14 cell display and a 40 is
going to be released soon. Also the braille display can be removed and used
by itself with other products if you wish or you can leave it in the machine
and pair it with your mobile phone as well as the machine and switch between
them both. I was looking at getting either the BN touch or the himms product
until I saw the elbraille. The 14 cell one is about the same size as the old
BrailleNote PK. Also you can attach a screen to the elbraille if you want to
show something to a sighted person. Because it's running windows 10 you can
use any software that runs on a normal computer.
Just wanted to offer this alternative.
