Hello, You can set gmail to delete the emails when they are downloaded. You have to do it on the website.
Go to settings, pop & forwarding & you will see all the options.

I have tried email on the apex the problem is that I use g mail
and it
does not remove the email from the server so I went back to using
the
computer. I have it set to remove from the gmail server but it
does
not do that.
