Okay, thanks. I wasn't sure since demons have a tendency to reverse the truth. You know, I was playing the game just fine this morning for a few hours and then I lost the rod of brass and had to restart the game from the beginning. I saved the game a few times, but don't know which file has me in possession of that rod. Oh, well.

Tony the Cuddly Tiger
question: This thing all things devours: birds, beasts, trees, flowers;
Gnaws iron, bites steel; grinds hard stones to meal;
Slays king, ruins town, and beats high mountain down.

Talking to the demon will help you. You get to ask it 3 questions
about the game and get hints. I don't think you can talk to the
angel though.

Subject: [BNU] curses question

Hi, I've started playing Curses again and was wondering if
talking to either the angel or the demon will help me in any way?
I have the walkthrough and it skips the demon entirely.

When is a phoenix born? Never, for a circle has no beginning or
end. Just like the phoenix who rises from the ashes again and
again, so life never truely ends. Every ending is just a
beginning of a new chapter. Even death is not an end for we live
on eternally elsewhere.
