Okay, thanks. I wasn't sure since demons have a tendency to reverse the truth. You know, I was playing the game just fine this morning for a few hours and then I lost the rod of brass and had to restart the game from the beginning. I saved the game a few times, but don't know which file has me in possession of that rod. Oh, well.

I have the walkthrough and it skips the demon entirely. When is a phoenix born? Never, for a circle has no beginning or end. Just like the phoenix who rises from the ashes again and again, so life never truely ends. Every ending is just a beginning of a new chapter. Even death is not an end for we live on eternally elsewhere. ------------------------------- BNU: BrailleNote Users - a forum for users of BrailleNote family of products from Humanware.
