No you have to download the books using the BARD app in oder for it to access
them. You can tell BARD to save to an external SD card but it will download all
books there.

Hi to all. I know you have to download the bard app to listen to NLS bard
books. However, say I have an sd card originally in my second gen victor
stream that has a bunch of NLS bard books on it. Could I play those NLS bard
