Hi Vic,

Don't try to use a UTD file for embossing. it isn't intended for that. 
the advantage of UTD over "standard" translation is that it provides the 
information needed to show which part of the print text corresponds to 
each line of braille. It also provides for tactile graphics. andis the 
basis for various conversions.

Eventually UTD will be the default, but the user will be able to specify 
in the settings dialogue that non-UTD translation is wanted. Embossing 
from UTD will also be provided.
