[brailleblaster] Another problem with the configuration dialog

The configuration dialog doesn't show the current value of the entry in the
preferences.cfg file. It seems to show the defaults no matter what you have
changed the values to. It should show the current value. For example, I have
the characters per line set to 42, but when I bring up the dialog it still
says 32. Other settings are the same. The value of 42 is actually used.
