I started a very long book list on my Braille sense plus. Before I send this device back for maintenance, I want to know if there is a way to make a Braille file in to a word document that can then be read on my computer. Before I go very far in typing on to the computer a really long list, I'd like to know if I am doing a lot of work unnecessarily. Let me know if I can in any way convert a Braille file in to a document, I do have microsoft word and open book on my computer. Thanks so much.

Hi EveryoneI don't know if anyone still uses this list but, if they do, I thought I would let them know about the firmware upgrade to Version 7.A few weeks ago I posted a message about the Braille Sense firmware upgrade to Version 7. I was having issues with the cursor router keys, particularlywhen copying and pasting.Following various phonecalls to Sight and Sound, who could not replicate the problem, I sent a detailed e-mail to their support team who passed it on toHIMS.HIMS have now produced a new build of Version 7 which appears to have fixed the main problem.I did have an intermittent problem where if I pressed a cursor router key it went to 3 or 4 cells to the left of where I wanted it to go. I could not find a way to replicate this, but sometimes if it occurred and I moved the router key the Braille Sense locked up and had to be reset. This has not happened with the newfirmware.I am using the Braillesense B32 QWERTY model, so don't know if the one with the braille keys has the same problems.I believe the upgrade can be downloaded from the HIMS website.
