I did a little research. The book you want is Guarding
the Secrets: Palestinian Terrorism and a Father's
Murder of His Too-American Daughter
by Ellen Harris. It's "relates the tragic story of
16-year-old Tina Isa, murdered in Missouri in 1989 by
her father, Zein al-Abdeen Hassan Isa, with her
mother's help." Apparently the father was suspected of
being a terrorist and the house was bugged and the
murders caught on tape.
It sounds fascinating, especially since it's written I
think, but the newspaper journalist. They usually
write good books.
