Hi, Cindy. If you just want to be a volunteer, you need no proof of disability. You only need proof of that if you want to be a member, but since Rose already is, that shouldn't be an issue. I applied as a volunteer around the same time I applied for membership, so I was needing proof of disability for that, anyway. Take care. I filled it out a couple of years ago, but there wasn't any question about proof of disability -- some of us, fortunately for us, have no disability. I just had to write why I wanted to be a volunteer and possibility what my qualifications or background were, though I'm not sure about that. Is it possible that you filled out another membership application by mistake? I do seem to remember that it took several weeks before I heard, and that I had to write again, and that I received an apology for the time lag with the explanation that Jesse (at the time it was Jesse) had been out of town.
