Readers of these books will probably love The Shoes of the Fisherman though it
is modern historical fiction or fantasy rather than the traditional historical
fiction. A pope in the tradition of the saints or disciples but in today's
world. I don't find it in Bookshare but maybe someone will add it. It would be
good summer reading but it did not seem that long, or maybe it was just that
quick.
