Rik, Until the next Marissa's List comes out or someone on this list has the book, as opposed to the volunteers and members who don't subscribe to this list, one can't know for sure, but I suspect that someone has downloaded it for validation. Usually books that are submitted automatically go instantly to the download list--and I do mean instantly. I just noticed that you wrote this to the bookshare-discuss list. More people are on the bksvol-discuss list. I'll forward your letter to that list and suggest you join it. Many of us do subscribe to both, and I think all the questions or comments you've had in the past have been answered, but, as I ay, there are more people on that list, I think, and so one has more of a chance of getting help and information. However, there is also more chit-chat--more personal stuff, which can create a lot of mail. Some people object, but it really isn't much of a problem if one just looks at the first sentence of the subject line and deletes unwanted messges. smile Cindy --- Rik James <d28rik@xxxxxxx> wrote: > I just submitted - A Map of the World by Jane > Hamilton > It was scanned with OpenBook but I submitted it in > Rich Text Format. > It was on the Bookshare Bounty Wish List. > Really a good book. > I checked and it made it to the Step 1 Download > page. > > I also have 2 more books all scanned and ready for > validation. > Breath, Eyes, Memory by Edwidge Danticat > This is also on the Bookshare Bounty Wish List. > > I did upload this book, Breath, Eyes, Memory and got > the Thank You for > submitting page.
