Hi Tina:I mentioned the book. I rejected it because there were lots of things that needed fixing. But I think we should have it in the collection since it's part of a series.Grace----- Original Message ----- From: "Tina B." <tinabir@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <bookshare-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, December 22, 2007 12:41 AM Subject: [bookshare-discuss] just rewards by barbara taylor bradfordHi, didn't someone say they were working on this or saw it? GrandCindy isn't one to blow her own horn, but she has a mailing list for those of us who would like the list of each days additions sent directly to our in boxes. I'm one of the more than fifty people on her mailing list. Late every evening when she's sure no more books will be added, Cindy G or is it G. Cindy mails us a list of books added to the collection that day followed by the links where we can view the wish list or go to Jake's page. All you or anyone has to do is ask and Cindy will add you to the list of Bookshare volunteers she spoils by sending us the list of the newest books added by special, Grand Cindy, delivery. Come on aboard. She has welcomed all requests and she's as dependable as day following night.Always with love, Lissi----- Original Message ----- From: "Bertha A Guerrero" <missmommymomma@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <bookshare-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, December 21, 2007 6:26 AMSubject: [bookshare-discuss] Re: Jake's List of new books added to collectionCindy, what is the link on the bookshare web site to view the books added every day?All I seem to find are the books added within the last seven days. thank You Bertha----- Original Message ----- From: "Grandma Cindy" <popularplace@xxxxxxxxx>To: <bookshare-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, December 21, 2007 12:05 AMSubject: [bookshare-discuss] Jake's List of new books added to collectionTina et al. Originally the bookshare site list of new books added to the collection wasn't posted until sometime after noon of the next day and only had a maximum of 50 books. Jake's site listed all the books in the collection, the most recently added books first. I began an email list, based on Jake's site, so people not on the West Coast or who didn't want to wait would have the list in the morning when they woke up, if they wanted. I copied what was on Jake's list down to the ones that had been added the day before. Once the list was 96 books long, which caused some problems with some people's accounts--the list was refused. When bookshare reconfigured so that now they list all the books added within a week, Jake dropped his list. On the bookshare site you can check books added today, the last two days, the last week, the last two weeks, and/or the last month. The other day, 76 books were added. I still send out my e-mail list of English-language books added each day. This started because at one point a lot of Spanish-language books were being added and most people didn't want to wade through them to find out what English-language books were added. I mail the list around 11 p.m. Pacific time--sometimes as late as 2 a.m., because I found that when I sent it earlier the hard-working, never-resting people at bookshare were still added books after the proverbial 5 p.m. quitting time. One thing computers and working from home has done is enable people to work whatever hours they feel like, not just 9 - 5. smile If you or anyone else not currently receiving my list wish to, just let me know. Many people have found it convenient to get the list in their email for a variety of reasons. smile G.Cindy popularplace@xxxxxxxxx --- "Tina B." <tinabir@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:Hi. Didn't Jake's web page at one time have more recent updates to new books added to bookshare than it's web page? Seems to me that I used to see that some times his page would have books posted before the main bookshar site. Well, I still have his page bookmarked and went there earlier just to check it out and it seems to be the exact same as the regular bookshare site. Has this changed or am I just midssing something? Is there a way to get real time updates to the bookshare collection?----- Original Message ----- From: "Estelnalissi" <airadil@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Cc: <bookshare-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, December 20, 2007 10:02 PM Subject: [bookshare-discuss] Re: [bksvol-discuss] updated list 24 give aways to submitters to scan > Dear Booksharian Friends, > > The following books have been claimed, > > 1.
