Are you talking about Bradbury's Martian Chronicles? I liked some of the
stories and not others.

I hated catcher in the rye too. I guess it would rival the martian
chronicles as the books I hate most. I must say of mice and men gave me the
creeps. I like steinbeck as a general rule.

I had to read Catcher in the Rye in high school and in English in
college. I hated that book.
Don't know how I would feel a bout it if I read it today but back then I
thought it was trashy.

I love "Our town", but didn't really get the point until I was an
adult. Okay, everyone, when I saw it on PBS, I cried during the last scene.
On the other hand, I intensely disliked "The Bridge of San Luis Ray; I did read
and take a test on it my Junior year in high school. I tried to read it again
as an adult and gave up. Lori Castner

I was in the play Our Town, ugg. My third least favorite of my nine
shows. Worst was Playing for Time by Arthur Miller where i had to pretend to be
a dying tortured holocaust victim for months on end. Second worst was spoon
river anthology where i got to be the house manager. Talk about a pain in the
ass thankless job. lol!
