Hi Duane,
I would recommend stripping out headers by hand, but leaving
the page numbers in. The Bookshare tools are supposed, in theory, to
strip headers, but in actuality, what they strip are only headers
which are exactly uniform, even to the amount of white space on the
line on which the header appears. In my experience, and I've
submitted over 300 books, headers are only uniform about one
one-hundredth of the time. So, if you want them gone, removing them
by hand is the only foolproof way. Again, though, do, please, leave
the page numbers if they appear on the same line as the headers.

in one of Shelly's books she mentioned she had done this. Should I
be stripping out the headers or let bookshare do it.
