Hi all,
I submitted for validation a new book on the history of polio in America, and
the story of the development of the vaccine that eventually irradicated the
disease.
David Oshinsky's work, "Polio: An American Story," 2005, is perhaps the best
history of this topic to date, covering the cultural and scientific aspects of
this mid-century phenomenon equally well.
