Hi all,

<LOL> that is funny!

Just as an FYI, the word 'deity' is an exception to the little spelling rhyme we all learned in school:

I before e,
Except after C,
Or when sounded like ay,
As in neighbor and weigh.

Reason, it's a Latin word comes from 'Deus" meaning God. Hence deity.

Doesn't English drive you nuts? You just get to learn a rule, and then somebody comes along and says, this word's an exception to the rule. Is it any wonder so many people have trouble spelling?

Ann P.
