Hi Sue,
In order to convert a .DOC file to an RTF, do the following if you have
Word.
1. Open the file in Word.
2. Go to: Save As in the Files menu or hit F12.
3. You can either save it under the same name with an RTF extension or give
it another name.
4. When you get to the file type by hitting Tab, go to Rich Text Format.
5. Tab down to Save and press Enter.
