Hi All,
I've been out of the list for a while, but I think of you and hope all is
well.
The reason I am writing is that a long time ago Amber W. scanned a book
which I needed for a course. I used the book and was going to proof. But I
realized that to get the best proofing it required sighted help or a sighted
person. This has nothing to do with Amber's scan of the book. The book
contains a lot of tables and so forth. Anyway, since I've been unable to
get sighted help, (my husband comes home late and very tired,) Carrie has
changed the book title to be:
"HOLD FOR A SIGHTED PERSON Ten Days to Self-Esteem"
And the book has been released back into the queue. I just wanted to let
everyone know about the availability of the book for proofing, a little
history and explain why it says "Hold for a sighted person" in the title.
My sincere apologies for taking so long to get this out there. Both Amber
and I feel that this book, which focuses on help with self esteem, will be
an asset to the Bookshare collection. I hope someone will enjoy proofing
it.
I've not been on the list for a while and hope I'll be able to catch up
