I now have egg on my face. I thought I had checked all navigation levels but,
apparently I missed level III. When I use level III on the NLS Player, all is
well. Sorry I wasted everyone's time.

Subject: [bookshare-discuss] Problem with a Book in a Series.

I am currently reading the Amish of Lancaster Series by Sarah Price. My
format choice is Daisy Audio. I am currently reading them on my NLS Player.
The First book, "Fields of Corn" was just fine and could easily be navigated by
chapters at Level II without any difficulty. The second book, however, "Hills
of Wheat" cannot be navigated at either level with the previous and next
buttons. When you press those, it goes right to the end of the book. I have a
feeling, if I read them on my First Generation Stream, I will have no
difficulty. Is there any way that before downloading a book, there could be a
statement which might indicate navigation level or mark-up? This is really
kind of discouraging and frustrating, especially if one falls asleep like I do
as I do a lot of reading at night. Yes, I can manually put in bookmarks but,
if I'm not awake, I can't and, the only ways of getting somewhat back to where
you are in the book would be to use the rewind button or perhaps the phrase
level.

When I am reading this book on the NLS Player, it does tell me page numbers
but, of course, you can't go back by page. I have not, as of yet, checked out
the other books in the series to know how they're going to act on the NLS
Player.

I really don't mean to complain as Book Share is such a good service and I am
so grateful to have it. I just wish that there was some easy answer.

I will be anxiously awaiting some response from someone who has experienced
something similar or who knows why the different play-back occurs between the
Stream and the NLS Player.

Thanks, in advance for your response.
