Very interesting. Thank you. You really plan to change
your name officially?
Your comment about the verse in Isaiah referring to
our lives as being but a vapor reminds me of a
wonderful song from the musical Lost in the Stars, A
Bird of Passage. I don't remember all the words but
man is compared to a bird of passage; last part of the
song, lyrics written by Maxwell Anderson, were, with
Weill's music, put on Weill's gravestone:
This is the life of men on earth:
Out of darkness we come at birth
Into a lamplit room, and then -
Go forward into dark again.
