FICTION, OLD AND NEW

Fiction, Old and New will be discussing Harriet and Isabella by Patricia
O'Brien in the Book Nook Room of Accessibleworld.org on Tuesday, July 14th
at 9:00 p.m.eastern time, 6:00 p.m. pacific time.

This historical fiction book deals with family estrangements in a very
famous family of the time, that of Harriet Beecher Stowe & her famous
preacher brother Henry Ward Beecher. In addition to the family issues, we
have much about the sensational trial of the day, that of Henry being sued
as the responsible party in the dissolution of a friend's marriage.
