Thanks Valerie
, and you may be right. I did a search on some of those books, and they
still were listed. There are sure lots of them. I'm sure that many of
them I will never get around to reading, since I have over 3000 books on
a Myriad of subjects downloaded. I know, I am a bit of a hoarder, but
when I see a book that interest me in some way, I want to make sure I
have it available and at hand when the need for referencing arises. .
Thanks again,
Larry

Unless I am mistaken, Larry, when I book is marked as withdrawn, it is no longer available for download. There are a multitude of reasons that may happen… Most common is that it may have been replaced by a publisher quality copy that is slightly different or has a different ISBN.
Thanks!

I don't know how many of you all take the opportunity of compiling and
downloading a csv file of your download history from Bookshare, but I do
every month or so, which leads me to my question. Exactly what does the
designation "withdrawn" mean, as apposed to that of "download when it
comes to specific books?" Download seems obvious, but withdrawn? Sounds
rather ominous. So, could someone please either ease my mind, or give me
the bad news <smile>?
Thanks,
Larry
