Hi, Miriam,

Since you asked whether this was possible, and I was
curious anyway: I did a My History search using the date of my first
subscription in 2012 (first date) through today (2nd date.) There are more than
twice as many as I'd guessed, but all downloads are there, at 100 per page.

Some titles don't display a "Downloaded" link (don't know why, since
they were), and when I refreshed the page to see whether those links would
appear it defaulted to the History of the past 30 days. A saved link in my
Favorites folder also takes me there. So getting back to current results is
easy.

Andy

----- Original Message -----<BR

or anyone else, Can you change the time to 2012 to 2021, or do you have to
change it to shorter periods of time? And after you finish looking, do you have
to change it back to what it was when you first went to My History?<BR

History

This is interesting. Because of Miriam's question about
finding a book that she had downloaded years ago. I got curious about whether
the history really did cover one's entire history with Bookshare. So I went to
that history page and changed the date range fields. In the first one I changed
the year to 2001. Since the year is expressed in only two digits I actually
changed 21 to 01. I am pretty sure that is before Bookshare existed. I first
subscribed in July of 2008 so I changed the second date field by replacing 21
with 08. I clicked go and, indeed, it showed me my very first downloads. I
remember that when I first subscribed I had to wait for my application to be
approved. I used the NLS as my proof of disability and it took a while for
Bookshare to check with them I suppose. So while I waited I downloaded a public
domain book. I did not expect that it would be included in this search because
it was my understanding that I was not actually subscribed, but only awaiting
the approval of my subscription. But, as a matter of fact, that very first
public domain book was included in my download history. So, as to the question
of whether your history on Bookshare goes back forever and ever, it does, or at
least as long as your subscription has existed.

___
<BR
