[bookport] which card to buy?

I've seen compact flash cards with 40 and 80 x transfer rates with the 
former being less expensive.  Is there an advantage in using the card with 
the higher transfer rate?  I'm thinking that what's important to a camera 
user may not carry the same weight transferring files as we do.  thanks
