[bookport] upgrades

I am wondering about upgrades. There was talk here about something we
would have to pay for. Is this separate from the firmware which
hopefully we will see, after the bugs are out. Will they let us know
what the situation is? Quite frankly, I love the bookport, but do not
think I know enough about computers and want to risk it not working
anymore and therefore will not test the firmware. Any information you
can provide concerning this would be appreciated. Kurt
