I had a lot of trouble getting the 2.2 software to load. I think it took 4
or 5 tries. Everything would act like the software was installed, but the
next time I connected it would tell me it needed to be done. I have no idea

Hey Barb. I know what you're talking about. when I updated to 2.2 Jaws
kind of hung on me and sometimes it would work and sometimes it would stop
talking. I didn't unload it though and it eventually regained its natural
behavior after the update was complete. Also when I updated the firmware to
2.2 I got some weird error that I can't remember what it was now but the
firmware update seemed to have been successful because it now says book port
2.2 ready. so who knows.

Hi first of all welcome to thwe list. I don't think there is a problem. I am using jaws 7.1 and it works fine. I am not aware of any conflicks.

Hello, I'm Barb and just bought the bookport. Got it working ok but had trouble transferring the updated software to the bookport. It wouldn't load. Then shut off JAWS 7 and for some reason it worked. Is there a known
