The most likely two possibilities are that your CompactFlash card is simply
out of space or you have too many files in the root directory of the card.

Subject: [bookport] unknown message

Hi. I had a problem with my BP Transport failing. It absolutely would not
come up by plugging in the BP. I could bring it up manually and it would do
nothing. All of this after successfully putting about a thousand books on my
Bookport. I uninstalled BPT and then reinstalled it from the disc that came
with my BP. Now plugging in the BP into the USB port it seems to come up
fine, except that now my Bookport says Can't create, "h:\bp_doc.txt.ix
access is denied." Does anyone know what this means. I beleive this has
something to do with my BP trying to update the software. My BP is currently
running version 2.0.0 BPT has the option of Okay or cancel. I pick okay.
After waiting a couple of minutes the book that I have cued will come up and
be successfully installed on my BP. Pamela or anyone does this ring a bell
and do you know what this means? Thanks for your help.

Kent
