[bookport] stupidness!

This is all utterly ridiculous!!! We're all, and I mean all those who have
posted on the "suggestions" thread, being totally silly! Everyone has the
right to be heard. Everyone has the right to their own opinion. No one has
the right to belittle or put down a person because of a disagreement, even an
extreme one. This has nothing to do with the BookPort, or whether it will
someday include all these features and modifications. Instead, it has to do
with basic politeness, courtesy, and respect for our fellow humans and their
opinions. To call it panic when someone dares to post an opposite viewpoint is
truly unnecessary and mean, and besides, it's completely untrue. Even if
people reply to this message and state that they couldn't possibly agree with
me less, that's their right and I have no business judging that person or
trying to force them around to my way of thinking. It's really basic, boys and
girls, we're all out here trying to live, work, play, and be people with our
wonderfully diverse opinions. I've thought about getting off this list because
of all this pettiness, but I love the BookPort and want to keep abreast of
what's going on with it. I also like to post the occasional response to a
question, if I feel I know the answer. So I will stay, and keep deleting what
I don't want to read, and hope that things calm down and people start being
able to live with each other, in spite of disparate opinions. Lastly, I
apologize to the whole list for posting yet one more un-BookPort-related
message, I just felt these things had to be said by someone.
