As it currently stands, you can always tell if the book port is locked
or unlocked. If it is locked, you hear a beep when you press a key.
If it is unlocked, you do not hear the beep. I don't see that a beep
for unlocked will make any difference. In addition, one would have to
hear the unlocked beep each time they pressed a key on the unit when
it was in operation because it would not be locked. That would get
very annoying quite quickly.

what I mean is this. I don't have my earphones attached, and don't
have the lock beep enabled. I would like a feature where when the bp
is locked, a beep is heard, when it is unlocked, another type of beep
is heard.
