By way of introduction, my name is Eamonn O'Connor, and am living in
Dublin.
I've had my Bookport for about a year, but have just recently subscribed
to the list.
I'm wondering if there is software which will strip the audio from audio /
video files, so the audio can be played on the Bookport?
I downloaded some files, (marking the 25th anniversary of radio
Netherland's "Media Network programme.)
While the audio plays fine in Windows Media Player (and I think Winamp
as well,) , the video is really jerky, like a strobe light. I'm not
worried about the video, but would like the freedom of listening to the
audio while on the move.
The files are available in both Quick Time and Windows Media formats.
Below is a link to one of the files, in case anyone feels like
experimenting!
