Although a new Book Port user, I would suspect your problem may have been
solved by the reset of the system one gets by simply disconnecting and re
connecting the batteries. This is based on a time when my Book Port was not
functioning and the keypad reset would not work. I got results by simple
momentarily removing one of the batteries. I hate to think that the 52
percent battery life is meaningless.
