I encountered an MFC error again this evening. I was attempting to transfer the
second file among several (all are listed below). I had created a separate
folder for them on the Bookport and changed to that folder. I now move files
one at a time, which seems to lessen the problem. On my first attempt to
transfer the second file,
First_Things_First__To_Live_.brf, I encountered the error message and the
transfer utility shut down. I restarted and the file transferred without
incident, as did the remaining files. I hope this helps.

Hi Richard:

Actually, I have access to that, so I just need the title and I can download it
myself.

Thanks!

Pamela,

These are BRF files (unpacked from Zip archives) that were downloaded from
Bookshare. I trust I wouldn't be violating my user agreement by sending you a
file. The next time this occurs, I'll be glad to send the file. What address
should I use? Thanks.

Hi:

For those of you who reported getting this error last week, could you please
provide us with more information, such as what types of files are you
transferring, TXT, BRF, etc. and where did the files come from? So far, we've
been unable to track this down and need more information. If possible, perhaps
you would be willing to send one of your files offlist?

Thank you.
