No, the card does not easily pull out of the side of the unit. I use my
thumb and forefinger and grasp the edge of the cared and give a good strong
pull and it'll come out. No, there is nothing to unlock to release the
card. Hope I helped you out.

I plan to buy a larger memory type I flash card for my bookport. I have lightly pulled the card that is installed with the unit, and it does not come out. Is there some type of lock that must be released before the memory card can be removed from the bookport?
