Rusty:

Sounds like its time to reformat the card, or run Chkdsk or ScanDisk on =
it. A corrupt file system can cause buffer overrun errors.

As for the USB power thing, we decided to save approximately $50 on the =
cost of the unit, and designed it to be powered by batteries.

Hi folks,
I've recently started having a problem.
Several times recently I've plugged my unit in to my computer, and after
unplugging it, I have a "buffer overrun". I don't know what the deal is.
This after noon, I plugged it in, and couldn't download a book to it. It
said it couldn't create the file on the disk.
Also, is there any way we could have the thing run on usb power when it's
plugged in? I've recently run a set of pretty fresh batteries down because =
I
forgot to unplug it from the pc.

Thanks
