Hi:
You can delete files from the Book Port by pressing b and e on the Book Port
itself, and/or by highlighting the book while in the Book Port Transfer program
and simply pressing the delete key.
Files that have been put on the Book Port have been filtered, so if you want to
do anything with them on the PC, you'll need to open the Book Port up under
Windows Explorer, or My computer, copy the files over to the PC. There will be
3 files for every book. Two of the 3 files you will not need, unless you plan
to copy them back later and want to maintain your place, etc. If not, you can
delete them and only copy the file that has the DD extension. That is your
actual data file. You would need to go in and delete the DD extension off the
end of the file name, using the Rename feature (f2) on the PC. Once you have
done that, you can open them in wordpad on the PC.

I would like to remove some books from the book port they are text files
and brf files. Has the book port Transfer done anything to them or they same
as they were when I put them on and for example can a text file be read by note
pad?
