Yes, I do have a flash card reader.
Do you have a flash card reader? It sounds like your upgrade failed, but we can probably get you back up by copying the files through another device, like a card reader.
Book Port doesn't yet support 4 gb cards. We hope to have support for that in a soon to come version.
What message are you getting when you send a Word file to the BP?

I am a relatively new bookport user so I appologize if the issues I raise in this note have been discussed before.
1. Installing Beta Software
I just tried to install the new beta software released today. Unfortunately, when I disconnected my bookport from my computer after the installation, I have not been able to bring my speech back. When I reconnect the device to my computer, I am getting a hardware not recognized error. How can I resolve this problem?
2. 4 gb sandisk flash cards
I have a 4 gb sandisk flash card for storing audio files. I have moved the switch on the card to position 1, the position that allows full access to the card in one partician. However, once I load more than 2 gb of data onto the card, I cannot seem to access the other files with the bookport, even though the files appear both in a dos and windows explorer file listing. How can I resolve this problem?
3. Bookport and Microsoft Word documents
I am using Microsoft office 2000 as installed by Dell Computer Corp when I bought my computer. Bookport does not seem to be able to import my word files. Are there other programs/filters that I need to install?
Thank you for your help.
