They do use the same speech. The only way to change the speech is to
use the new Send Audio button in the beta software. This lets you use a
speech synthesizer on your machine then send that as an audio file to
the Book Port.

I have heard that the book port and the Book Courier use the same
speach. Is
this correct? Is there a way to change the speach?
