I almost always use rechargeable batteries with my Bookport. The
battery life is fine, I save money, and the environment wins!
The battery monitor is a bit off with rechargeable batteries (they start
"fresh" at around 70% and linger in the 50's for a bit), but once you
have this calibrated, they are fine.

Larry and guys for the cheap amongst us how about in a future
hardware=20 revision that we have the ability to use an AC adapter.
