Hi Rob. I guess I am having trouble finding the button to say "always let it run." I can see the "let it run this time," but with the screen reader I have to go into the unrestricted mode and may just be missing the button you're speaking about. I hope one is there so I can disable the problem with this transfer without disabling MacAfee Thanks for your help. ----- Original Message ----- From: "ROB MEREDITH" <rmeredith@xxxxxxx> To: <bookport@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, August 19, 2004 3:21 PM Subject: [bookport] Re: Transfer problems Gary: If you mean that you are stopped by McAfee when first starting Book Port = Transfer, then it is the Check For Updates At Startup option of Book Port = Transfer which is triggering this. You can either tell McAfee to always = let it run, or turn off the Check For Updates At Startup option in the = Advanced page of the Options dialog. Are you trying to send from inside Internet Explorer? If so, I have noticed that, too on my home system, and I have not found a =3D way to tell the virus software to allow this script. It is most annoying. >>> gwunder@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Thursday, August 19, 2004 3:10:14 PM >>> When I try to run the transfer utility, it is stopped by McAfee I believe saying there is a suspicious Script trying to run. With some difficulty I can navigate to a button saying to let it run this time. Has anyone else had this problem? Is it possible to tell MacAfee to ignore this particular script all the time instead of fighting with it each time I initiate the transfer? Gary Wunder gwunder@xxxxxxxxxxxxx=3D20=20
